There’s a project called DIY Honeycomb shelves. This is one of the unique and popular designs of floating shelves. You just need to get some unused boards or woods, and then you cut them into thin board shape. Instead of straight side, you need to make the sharp edge for each side so that you can easily connect the boards to make hexagonal shape. And the last part is to connect the boards to make hexagonal shape that has been mentioned before. You can make as many hexagonal shapes as you want then arrange them on the wall to get honeycomb-like shelves. That’s easy, right?
The second one is corner shelves. Just like its name, these floating shelves were purposely attached on the corner wall of the room. This tie we’ll go with the simple idea again. You need to cut the wood to get boards in medium thickness. You can get ten boards in the same size. After that, you put the first board on the corner wall with arrangement: first board is on the left side, and then second board is slightly higher on the right side. Third board is slightly higher on the left side, and so on. In that way, you’ll get a nice corner shelves in your room.
