The first one if the Great Painted Shelves from Design Love Fest. The designer was using simple painted DIY wall bookshelves themed with the help of masking tape or duct tape and of course the paint. This is actually not the making shelves project, but the redesign project. Anyway, this idea is really simple yet the result is great. The designer was taped some parts of the wooden floating shelves, then painted the open parts with white color. And then, the designer opens the tape and let them unpainted. You can do the same way with coloring all parts or using other colors. That sounds like a plan, right?
The second DIY wall bookshelves are called Recycled Drawer Shelves from This Sort of Old life. This is really cool and brilliant idea. The designer was using unused drawers from old dresser as the shelves. You can just get the drawers, polished them and re-painted them with your favorite color. After that, you can attached them on the wall and use them as your wall shelves. Since the drawers are pretty small, you can keep the small size books in it and you’ll still get a great recycled drawer. Isn’t this a great DIY project to be followed?
